A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
To be eligible for this approval you must:
- Declare any process that may lead to a discharge of waste to sewer;
- State the nature and quantity of the waste and the proposed pre-treatment, waste monitoring or waste management procedures you will follow;
- Certify that the intended discharge after pre-treatment will conform to the requirements of the acceptance criteria.
If there is no risk of trade waste discharge to sewer, then this should be indicated on the application form.
