You will require this permit if you are a not-for-profit organisation and intend to sell liquor for consumption at an event or on a single permitted premises. Depending on your requirements, you may apply to sell liquor either in open containers for consumption on the permitted premises or in sealed containers for consumption elsewhere.
Please be aware of other conditions that may be included in the permit. For example, the Agency may state a maximum value you may charge for liquor.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
To be eligible for this permit:
- You must be a fit and proper person;
- You must have an understanding of the Liquor Act;
- You must successfully complete an approved Responsible Service of Alcohol training course. This training is required every 3 years;
- The premises must be deemed to be fit and proper and will be inspected with application; and
- The premises must be operated in a manner so not to cause undue disturbance to persons occupying premises in the neighbourhood.
You may be required to provide:
- A certificate of occupancy;
- Two copies of the approved final floor plans; and
- Evidence of not-for-profit status.
