You will require this approval if you intend to conduct fist boxing or kickboxing contests. The approval covers both amateur and professional contests however there are different requirements for contestants to engage in fights.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
To be eligible for this approval:
- The proposed venue must be suitable;
- The contest must be in the public interest; and
- You must be able to meet contractual obligations.
All boxing officials that will be involved in the contest must be registered under New South Wales legislation. Male professional boxers must also be registered under New South Wales Legislation while female professional boxers must be approved by the Minister. All contestants in amateur boxing contests must be a member of Boxing Australia or an affiliated body.

Professional boxing contests: $124.50.
