Description

You may be required to comply with this code if you intend to work with agricultural or veterinary chemical products. The object of this code is to make provision for and in relation to:

  • the evaluation, approval and control of the supply of active constituents for proposed or existing agricultural chemical products or veterinary chemical products
  • the evaluation, registration and control of the manufacture and supply of agricultural chemical products and veterinary chemical products.

State and territory governments are responsible for controlling the use of pesticides and veterinary medicines beyond the point of retail sale.
