Dangerous Goods Vehicle Licence - Australian Capital Territory

Service summary

You will require this licence if you intend to use a vehicle to transport:

  • More than 500 litres or 500 kilograms of dangerous goods in receptacles;
  • Where the capacity of all intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) is more than 3000 litres; or
  • Where any IBC is filled or emptied while on a vehicle.

If you hold a valid Dangerous Goods Vehicle Licence issued from another State or Territory you will not require this licence.
