Single User Authorisation for a Linked-Jackpot Arrangement - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You will need this authorisation if you intend to operate a linked-jackpot arrangement between gaming machines. You may also apply for a multi-user permit which allows you to operate a linked-jackpot arrangement between gaming machines operated under two or more licences.

A linked-jackpot arrangement is an arrangement which two or more gaming machines are linked to a device that:

  • from time to time, records the amount payable as winnings under the arrangement
  • receives messages from each machine to which it is linked
  • cannot affect the percentage payout of, or transmit a message to, a machine to which it is linked.
