This code outlines the requirements a business operator must adhere to if their workers may come into contact with asbestos. It describes both:

  • Requirements and management plans for workplaces that may contain asbestos in the building; and
  • Strategies for workers that will come into direct contact with asbestos during their work (such as asbestos removalists).
