Description

You may need to apply for a special purpose tag if you are the owner or the person in charge of tagable stock and:

the holding where livestock is location does not have a property identification code (PIC)
no other approved tag is readily available for the stock
another approved tag for the stock is not, or would not be effective for identifying the stock.

Please be aware that all stock must be tagged with approved tags.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
