Service summary

You may need to apply for a special purpose tag if you are the owner or the person in charge of tagable stock and:

  • The holding where livestock is location does not have a property identification code (PIC);
  • No other approved tag is readily available for the stock; and
  • Another approved tag for the stock is not, or would not be effective for identifying the stock.
