Description

You will need to comply with this code if you intend to keep bees. The code provides the minimum standards and requirements for the management of beehives located in urban areas.

The code has aims to:

  • limit the introduction and spread of diseases and parasites between bees
  • reduce the inconvenience of the presence of bees to neighbouring residents.
