Rules of Greyhound Racing - Australian Capital Territory

Service summary

You may be required to comply with these rules if you intend to participate in the greyhound racing industry in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). There are two sets of rules that you may need to comply with, the Greyhound Racing Rules and the Greyhounds Australasia Rules. These rules include requirements for:

  • Owners, trainers, bookmakers and all associated staff;
  • The conduct of racing;
  • Track standards;
  • Rug colours; and
  • The procedure for appealing an official decision.
