AS / NZS 4801:2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems - Specification with Guidance for Use - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You will need to comply with this standard if you intend to apply for an exemption from an employer's requirement to be insured to cover workers compensation claims by employees.

The standard sets out requirements for an occupational health and safety management system for self-insurers. A business must have an occupational health and safety management system in place that complies with this standard to be eligible to receive an exemption from holding workers compensation insurance.

This standard has been superseded by AS / NZS ISO 45001:2018.
