Service summary

You will be required to comply with this standard if intend to design or install a wind system. A wind system is a unit that converts energy from wind into electrical energy. A renewable energy certificate will only be given where a written statement is provided by the installer of the unit that the installation complies with this standard.

This standard provides a detailed procedure for the determination of wind

actions on structures, varying from those less sensitive to wind action to those for which dynamic response must be taken into consideration. Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required.
