Service summary

You may be required to comply with the conditions of this pharmacopoeia if you intend to manufacture or supply agricultural chemical products or veterinary chemical products. Certain veterinary chemical products must not be supplied unless they comply with the standards specified in this pharmacopoeia.

The European Pharmacopoeia is a listing of a wide range of active substances and excipients used to prepare pharmaceutical products in Europe. It sets out the common standards for the composition and preparation of substances used in the manufacture of medicines.
