Service summary

You will require this registration if you intend to provide services as a general practitioner providing services at a higher fee. This registration lists practitioners who have met specified training requirements as well as meeting Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Quality Assurance (QA) and Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements.

If your application for registration is approved you may utilise items that have an increased schedule fee and be eligible for Medicare benefits.

Eligibility requirements

You must provide certification by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or the General Practice Recognition Eligibility Committee that your practice is predominantly general practice and that they are fellows of the RACGP.
