You will require this approval if you intend to provide training services for aerodrome rescue and firefighting services (ARFFS).
The purpose of this approval is to ensure that the training provided by training organisations conforms to nationally recognised qualifications and that course content and learning outcomes satisfy the regulatory requirements established by the Agency.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
To be eligible for this approval you must:
- Names and addresses of the principal officers of the training organisation;
- Specify the location of the operation;
- Provide details of your registered address and Australian Company Number;
- Provide a copy of your Organisation chart;
- Outline courses, lesson plans and outcomes;
- Outline testing processes;
- Provide evidence of approval from a registered learning institution;
- Provide evidence of your internal audit system, quality control system and change management system; and
- Provide details regarding qualified training staff, assessors and validators.
