You will require this permit if you intend to introduce a chemical to Australia before an assessment certificate is issued. Only certain new chemicals will be eligible and include:

  • A polymer of low concern;
  • Non-hazardous chemicals or polymers;
  • Chemicals and polymers meeting low-hazardous criteria; and
  • Low-risk, highly controlled chemicals or polymers.
