Service summary

You will require this certificate if you are a seafarer on board a regulated Australian vessel.

A regulated Australian vessel is:

  • Registered or, required to be registered;
  • Not a recreational vessel;
  • Proceeding on an overseas voyage; or
  • An opt-in declaration is in force for the vessel.

Please note that the Agency has advised that this code is called up in Marine Orders - Part 70: Seafarer Certification.
