Australian Design Rule 80 - Emission Control for Heavy Vehicles - Australian Government

Description

You will be required to comply with this Australian Design Rule (ADR) if you intend to manufacture, supply or use heavy vehicles that are M or N category vehicles with a gross vehicle mass greater than 3.5 tonnes. M category vehicles are vehicles that are intended for passenger transport, N category vehicles are vehicles intended for goods / freight transport.

There are two sections of this design rule that apply and are intended to reduce and regulate emissions from heavy vehicles.
