Description

You must comply with these standards if you operate a disability service. A disability service is any service that provides employment services and rehabilitation programs for people with disability.

These standards outline the minimum requirements for:

providing individuals with rights
providing meaningful participation and active inclusion in society
building individual strengths and enabling goals to be reached
feedback and complaints
service access
service management.

A code of practice is a set of rules which details how people in a certain industry should behave. A code of practice can be defined as a result of legislation or by industry regulators and bodies.
