Description

You will be required to comply with this standard if you intend to manufacture, supply, sell or modify high frequency citizen band radio equipment or handphone radio equipment.

The purpose of this standard is to ensure radiocommunications equipment achieves a satisfactory level of performance prior to use. The technical requirements of this standard are drawn from AS / NZS 4355:2006: Radiocommunications equipment used in the handphone and citizen band radio services operating at frequencies not exceeding 30 MHz.

Please note that if you are importing a radiocommunications device for the sole purpose of use at a significant event, it may be exempt from this standard.
