Service summary

You will require this allocation if you are an approved age care provider and intend to receive a subsidy for providing residential, flexible or home-based aged care services. Allocations are an invitation by the Agency, to certain aged care providers, to apply for Commonwealth funding. The purpose of this system is to ensure that adequate funds are available for identified needs within the community. The number of allocations is limited and determined by the Agency.

Please be aware that you can only receive subsidy from the Agency if you have received an allocated place.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for an allocation, you must be an approved provider of aged care services and have been invited by the Agency to apply for an allocation. An allocation will only be granted where it meets the needs of the aged care community in the region.

Transfer details

Apply

Allocation of a place is able to be transferred as long as notice is given to the Agency in the approved form no later than 60 days before the proposed transfer day. The transferee must be an approved provider of aged care services.
