Service summary

You will be required to comply with these Guidelines in order to abide by the international broadcasting standards.

Broadcasting services provide programs that:

  • Are intended to appeal to the general public (e.g. entertainment, sports, news, etc); and
  • Can be received using commonly available equipment (e.g. televisions and radios).

The object of these Guidelines is to set out arrangements for:

  • Both proposed and operational international broadcasting services;
  • Matter in programs; and
  • The conduct of international broadcasting licensees.
