Approval for Outdoor Dining in a Public Place - Orange City Council - New South Wales

Description

You need this approval to use a footpath for restaurant purposes, such as for alfresco dining. An alfresco dining area is an outside eating area adjoining a shop, cafe or restaurant where tables, chairs and other structures are provided for use by patrons while they are consuming food or drinks.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this approval you will need to provide details such as the location of the premises and any relevant Development Consents or Construction Certificates for any structures that you intend to erect.

A copy of the current Public Liability insurance to the value of $10 million with endorsement noting Orange City Council's respective rights and interests and indemnifying Orange City Council for the licensed area is to be attached to your application.
