You will require this approval if you intend to display items on or near a public road.
This includes having any article, item, product or sign (whether for sale or otherwise):
- On a public road;
- Near a public road;
- Outside a shop window or doorway abutting a public road; or
- Beneath an awning over a public road.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
To be eligible for this approval you must provide details such as the type of activity, its location and proposed duration.
If the application applies to particular land, you must be the owner of the land or have consent from the owner.
If the Crown is the owner of the land, you must have consent from the Minister or a person authorised by the Minister.
