You will need this licence if you intend to buy the wool, hides or skins of cows, sheep and other livestock for the purpose of selling it.

Eligibility requirements

You can apply for this licence as an individual or corporation.

To be eligible for this licence, corporations must provide:

  • the names of each of the directors
  • the name of at least one licensee who is an employee or director
  • at least two forms of evidence of identity (outlined in the regulation) of each licensee or each of the licensees who are named in the application and who are employees or directors of your corporation.

To be eligible for this licence, individuals (natural person) must:

  • be at least 18 years of age and be a fit and proper person for the purpose of the licence
  • provide at least two forms of evidence of identity (outlined in the regulation)
  • not have been made bankrupt.

Please be aware that further eligibility criteria will apply and will vary depending on if you are applying as an individual or corporation.
