You will require this licence if you intend operate a retail store that will sell or supply certain therapeutic substances to the public. This licence authorises you to sell any substance that is classified as a Schedule 2 substance in the Poisons List.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence, you must:

  • be considered to be fit, proper and of good character for the purposes of the licence
  • be trading from a premises that is at least 20 kilometres from the nearest pharmacy
  • pay any required fees.
