Temporary Approval to Provide Additional Security Personnel - New South Wales

Service summary

A Master Licence allows you to provide persons to carry out security activities. Security activities include:

  • Unarmed guard;
  • Body guard;
  • Crowd controller;
  • Guard dog handler;
  • Monitoring centre operator;
  • Armed guard;
  • Consulting;
  • Selling;
  • Security equipment specialist; and
  • Security training.

If you hold a Security Master Licence and you intend temporarily to provide more security personnel than the number specified on your licence you can apply for this permit.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must:

  • Hold a Security Master Licence;
  • Pay any fees; and
  • Submit the required forms.
