Registration as a Bookmaker's Clerk (Greyhound Racing) - New South Wales

Service summary

You will require this registration if you intend to act as a clerk for a licensed bookmaker at greyhound race meetings in NSW. Bookmaker's clerks take bets from customers at betting agencies, bookmaker's stands, or over the phone, and assist bookmakers to provide betting services at race meetings.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this registration you must:

  • Submit the application in the approved form;
  • Pay the required fees;
  • Pay the cash deposit or bond determined by the Agency;
  • Supply evidence of character, fitness and experience;
  • If applying as a company, supply requested evidence so the Agency can determine if you are an eligible company; and
  • If applying as an individual, be 18 years old or older.
