Description

You will need this licence if you intend to manufacture or supply addictive drugs.

Addictive drugs are classified as Schedule 8 substances in the Poisons List. You must keep detailed records of the production and all transactions involving these substances.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence, you must:

  • be considered fit and proper for the purposes of the licence (including not having a criminal record)
  • provide adequate security for the premises where the drugs are held
  • provide or be willing to undertake a National Criminal Record Check
  • only manufacture or supply addictive drugs from the premises nominated on the licence.
