Grower Licence - Protected Native Plants - New South Wales

Service summary

You will require this licence if you intend to grow and harvest protected and threatened native plant species on your property.

A list of protected plants can be found in the Act. This licence applies to Groups 2 to 5. A licence is not needed to grow or harvest plants from Group 1. Please be aware that grower tags are required for Group 4 and 5 species and are recommended for Group 2 and 3 species.

To be eligible for this licence you must:

  • Own, lease or occupy the land you intend to grow upon;
  • Fill in the required form; and
  • Pay the required fees.
