Repair and Overhaul of Explosion Protected Electrical Plant Licence - New South Wales

Service summary

You will require this licence if you intend to overhaul and repair explosion-protected electrical plant for use in a coal mine. Every coal mine is required to have an electrical management plan. The plan must include provision for the overhaul and repair of explosion-protected plant at a licensed facility.

To be eligible for a licence you must ensure that your facilities are accredited or certified according to a recognised compliance assessment scheme. There are currently three recognised compliance assessment schemes.
