Service summary

You will require this licence if you intend to operate a business that will transport any of the following food stuffs:

  • Dairy;
  • Meat;
  • Plant products;
  • Seafood or shellfish; or
  • Eggs and egg related products.

Please note that:

  • All food transport business have to comply with the requirements of the Food Standards Code; and
  • Depending on the exact food stuffs you plan to transport there may be specific conditions you have to comply with.
