Motor Race Authorisation - New South Wales

Service summary

You will require this authorisation if you intend to conduct a motor race.

In order to conduct a motor race, you must:

  • obtain a race promoter approval, which allows you to apply for a motor race authorisation;
  • apply for and obtain a motor race authorisation; and
  • obtain authorisation for any works to be carried out in association with the motor race.

Please note that motor races may only be conducted in declared areas within Sydney Olympic Park or the City of Newcastle, and that only one motor race may be held in any one year.
