Fish Receiver Registration - New South Wales

Description

You will require this registration if you intend to receive fish from commercial fishers for the purposes of re-sale or other commercial use. There are two classes of registered fish receivers:

  • Class A: commercial fishers licensed in New South Wales, whose registration as a fish receiver is subject to a condition that the receiver must not receive fish for resale or other commercial use from any other commercial fisher
  • Class B: all other registered fish receivers.

Please be aware that there are circumstances where you will not require this registration (e.g. transporting the fish on behalf of the owner of the fish).
