Licence to Sample or Analyse Diesel Engine Exhaust - New South Wales

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to undertake sampling and analysis of diesel engine exhaust at a coal mine.

The operator of an underground coal mine must ensure that the exhaust from each diesel engine used in the underground parts of the mine is regularly sampled and analysed by a person who holds this licence. All diesel engines used in the underground parts of the mine must meet limits on the content of their exhaust set by the agency.

If you are applying for an application on behalf of a company you must ensure that at least one of your company's management personnel has appropriate qualifications relating to the sampling and analysis of diesel engine exhaust.
