Wine Show or Producer's Market and Fair Notification - New South Wales

Service summary

You will require this notification if you intend organise a wine show or producer's market / fair where wine producers can sell or supply their wine products directly to the public. Wine sales or supply must be for customers to taste at the stall or to take away in sealed containers.

Please be aware that wine shows must be held at a recognised wine, vineyard or industry association. Wine can only be sold at producers markets / fairs if the purpose of the event is to allow farmers or primary producers to display and sell their own products directly to the public.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible to apply for this notification you must:

  • be 18 years or older
  • have at least 10 farmers or primary producers selling their products directly to the public
  • notify the local Council about the show or market
  • submit the application form.

One notification can be made for multiple events within the same year.
