Persons intending to conduct air monitoring, clearance inspection and issue clearance certificates after Class A asbestos removal work must be suitably qualified to hold an Asbestos Assessor Licence.

Evidence that the applicant has acquired through training or experience the knowledge and skills of relevant asbestos removal industry practice and either: Specified VET course or Tertiary qualifications in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, science, building construction or environmental health.
