Petroleum Exploration Permit - NT - Australian Business Licence and Information Service

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to explore for petroleum onshore or in coastal waters. Petroleum means any naturally occurring oil or gas.

This permit will grant you the exclusive right to conduct petroleum exploration activities in the title area. Exploration activities include:

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Permit is valid for 5 years with a maximum of 2 permit renewals.
