Certifying Plumber & Drainer (Design) Registration - Northern Territory

Service summary

This registration enables the holder to certify the design of plumbing and drainage works in all classes of buildings, in accordance with the provisions of the Building Code of Australia and Building Regulations (4).

A Plumber & Drainer (Design) is required to hold Professional Indemnity insurance to the value of $1 million and be a type that is acceptable to the Building Practitioners Board.

If a corporation or firm is registered as a certifying plumber and drainer (design), then they must have a nominated individual who is also registered in the same category.
