Firearms Corporate Licence - Northern Territory

Service summary

This licence is required to be held by employers who require their employees to use any of the company firearms. The holder of this licence may only possess firearms of the category specified on the licence. The employer must not allow anyone to have possession of any corporate firearm unless they have a firearms employees licence, and the possession of a firearm is for a purpose relating to his or her duties as an employee.

Corporate registered firearms can also be utilised by the holder of an Instructors licence for the purpose of delivering firearm safety training or the holder of a temporary permit, in accordance with the conditions of such permit.
