All employees involved in casino related activities are required to hold a licence. Only persons who have been offered employment by a licensed casino operator are eligible to apply. Application forms are available from the Casino itself.
There are two categories of licence: key and standard. Key licences are issued to management level employees and standard licences are issued to service delivery employees eg croupiers, cashiers.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
5 years (Trainee Licence only valid for 3 months.).
$327 (key); $132 (Standard or Trainee)
- be deemed by the Casino to have sufficient competency to perform the duties as licensed;
- be 18 years of age;
- be of good repute and character; and
- have sound and stable financial background.
The applicant must also have been offered work by the casino to be able to apply.
Forms are only available from the Casino.
- Birth Certificate;
- Naturalisation papers;
- Visa (where applicable);
- 3 x passport photos; and
- Other information as requested on application form.
