Occupational diving work code of practice 2005 - Queensland

Service summary

The objective of the regulation is to prevent a person's death, injury or illness being caused by hazards commonly found when conducting occupational diving work.

The Workplace Health and Safety Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2005 addresses the risks associated with occupational diving and relates specifically to:

  • diver competency
  • conducting a risk management process
  • keeping dive safety logs
  • inducting workers (divers) to dive sites.
