How can the assistance help you?

The purpose of assistance under this program is to provide concessional loans to primary producers to implement systems and management practices that enhance sustainable primary production in Queensland by:

  1. increasing productivity and long term viability; and
  2. avoiding or minimising adverse impacts on the natural resource base and other ecosystems affected by the primary production activity for which the assistance is received; and
  3. adopting systems and practices to mitigate the effects of climate, drought and market risks.

The maximum amount of a loan or the total outstanding balances under this program is $1,300,000

Eligibility requirements

No fees or charges.
No penalties for early payouts.
Joint finance with the applicant's bank available.
Low rates of interest over the initial fixed term of the loan.
