To provide for the protection of the public by regulating the use of listening devices and to prohibit the unlawful entry of dwelling houses.

Scope of this legislative Instrument:

The Act prohibits the use of listening devices and the unlawful entry of dwellings. The Act also prohibits the publication or communication of private conversations where a listening device has been used, except in limited circumstances.
