This support service is provided to assist existing and prospective growers of subtropical fruits to make effective business and management decisions.

The Department provides advice and information on production and marketing issues on a range of sub-tropical fruit and nuts including:

  • pineapple
  • avocado
  • subtropical banana
  • pawpaw
  • lychee
  • mango
  • strawberry
  • low chill stone fruits (peaches, plums etc)
  • custard apples
  • passionfruit
  • macadamia nuts
  • sweet persimmon.
