Consulting Surveyor Endorsement - Queensland

Service summary

This registration is required for a person to operate as certain types of surveyors.

It is up to the applicant to obtain a copy of the Surveyors Act 2003.

means a person registered as a surveyor under the Surveyors Act 2003

Eligibility requirements


You must meet the Competency Assessment process for the applicable level of registration sought.

Duration

This endorsement remains in effect until 31 December each year and is renewed in the period from October to December.

Fees

You can obtain information on fees from the agency.

Application

Submit a completed "Application for a Consulting Endorsement by a Surveyor (Individual)" (Form 08A) to the Board. An individual who intends to practice as a surveyor will be required to pay an application fee plus an annual registration fee.

The following documents must be submitted with the application:

  • Certificate of Competency issued by ASIBA (Australian Spatial Information Business Association)
  • Certificate of Professional Indemnity Insurance (minimum $1,000,000) that you personally hold.

Transfer details

This registration cannot be transferred.
