Service summary

A key monitoring employee is an individual employed by a licensed monitoring operator (LMO) who:

  • occupies or acts in a managerial position or carries out managerial functions in relation to the monitoring operations; or
  • is in a position to affect or significantly influence the operations; or
  • occupies or acts in a position designated in the operator's control system as a key position.

Must Have

If you are applying for a key monitoring employee licence you:

  • must be 18 years or older
  • must supply a Letter of intent of employment from the licensed monitoring operator (LMO) addressed to the Executive Director, Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) stating they intend to employ you as a key person or that you are to carry out the duties of a key person.

A key monitoring employee licence is valid for 5 years from the date of issue.

Renewal of key monitoring employee licence

Application

If you are a new key monitoring employee, you must submit the following to the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation:

  • Form 82: Application for liquor and gaming individual employees
     
  • You must provide two (2) identical colour passport-size photographs of yourself with your completed application which meet the following requirements:
  1. Photographs must not be more than six (6) months old.
  2. Photographs must be against a plain light coloured background (e.g. cream, pale blue or white).
  3. Photographs must be approximately 35mm wide x 45mm high (passport size).
  4. Photographs must display a full view of head and shoulders without any head-covering. If you wear a head-covering for religious reasons we will accept a photograph of you wearing it; however, your facial features must be clearly shown.
  5. If you normally wear glasses, you should do so in the photograph; however, tinted glasses are not acceptable.

Note: If you are sending your photographs by post you cannot send scanned copies.

Renew

If you are renewing as a gaming nominee you need to submit ID documentation and photographs as outlined above.
