Tattoo operator licence - Queensland

Description

You will need this licence to operate a body art tattooing business. This licence authorises you to run a body art tattooing business (whether on your own or manage it for another person) at the location specified on the licence.

If you are self-employed and run your own a body art tattooing business, you will not need a separate tattooists licence unless you operate at another tattoo studio.

In your application, you must nominate where you will operate the body art tattooing business. If your business has various locations, a separate operator licence is required for each location where a body art tattooing business is conducted.

If you already have a licence from another Australian state or territory, you may be entitled to mutual recognition. This will convert your existing licence into a valid Queensland licence.
