Service summary

Where dangerous goods are being handled on or at a wharf other than in the area of the Port of Darwin, the handling shall be carried out in accordance with (a) the requirements contained in the Rules, or (b) the requirements of the Chief Inspector.

The Rules for the safe transport, handling and storage of dangerous substances and oils in port areas are published by and available from the Association of Australian Port and Marine Authorities, Level 16, 1 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
