Service summary

The Fair Trading (Health and Fitness Industry) Code of Practice applies to traders that supply or offer to supply the following goods or services (at a premise occupied by the trader):

  • the use of fitness equipment;
  • a physical fitness programme, including pre-exercise evaluations, individualized exercise programmes, supervised fitness programmes or aerobic fitness programmes; and
  • the use of fitness facilities.
